A TRIBUTE TO LILLIAN SKROBECKI TICE

Lillian Skrobecki Tice on August 27, 2009, was promoted to Heaven. We respectfully do not give her date of birth because she was always 39 and ceased to age.

Her father. Stan Skrobecki, was an immigrant from Poland who married her mother, Lottie, purchasing his honorable discharge from the U.S. Cavalry for $100 to do so.

Lillian has two sons, Stan Tice, a retired Police Detective, and Orvil (Ty) Tice, a retired Pastor.

Her husband Orvil (Barney) Tice who preceded her in 1982, was a retired Journeyman Machinist/Preacher.

Lillian also had three sisters, Virginia, Edna(Gwen), and Joan.

When Lillian and Barney went to Bob Jones University, she majored in art, while Barney honed his ministerial skills. She painted many scenic, still-life paintings, and black light art for church services, but her favorite was potraits she did of her family including a clay bust of her dad.
